You may have already seen my last post but this week saw my little boy Blake turn 2 years of age.
I made a sentimental birthday video for my Niece, Sophia back in June when she turned 2 and I’ve been meaning to get my hands on a video camera to do the same for Blake for a while. Last week Shaun bought me a new camera and let me have it early ahead of my birthday. I am in awe of it – I love it! And I have no idea how to use it properly yet so I’m excited about it’s future capabilities.
I filmed the following over a couple of days when Blake was visited by various members of our family withe presents, cake and kisses. I chose the new song from the John Lewis advert featuring the snowmen ‘The Power of Love’ by Gabrielle Aplin as the soundtrack. Sadly after waiting 3 hours for the video to upload to YouTube it got rejected and banned because of the song. So, I trawled the internet and found this fantastic, and actually much better slow version of The Power of Love by a girl called Laura Jean.
Happy Birthday to our gorgeous little man who fills our days with joy, laughter, sometimes a bit of stress but mostly happiness! We love you very much.
beautiful. made me cry. the bit where you are running your fingers thru his curls. i do that, too. so unbelieveably precious.
